HDE Go Big RACE Can-Am X3 Rear Knuckle/Hub Kit (Big bearing)
Go Big with our ultimate Can-Am Maverick X3 rear knuckle/spindle and hub kit that addresses all the common problems in the factory setup. Whether you're a racer or a weekend warrior we designed this kit to be the last setup you'll need for your X3.
Through racing Can-Am X3s in the BITD series (UTV Trophy class), Hammer Down Enterprises has come up with the most bulletproof rear knuckle/hub solution on the market today. After continued breakages using other aftermarket solutions, we set out to make our own and be truly best-in-class so you can enjoy your Maverick X3 with peace of mind.
The most common issues with the X3's rear knuckle/hub setup that this kit will correct:
- Toe link/middle radius rod exhibit too much play
- Problematic wheel bearing snap ring
- Undersized factory pivot bearings
- Wheel hub snout shearing at the base
At the core of this kit is our billet aluminum (7075-T6) rear knuckles that put the toe link (middle radius rod) in double shear with stainless steel inserts to keep the aluminum from wallowing out over time. We also upgrade the other rods to larger spherical bearings and we've thickened the surrounding material for extra strength. Our knuckles/spindles are designed to run oversize (82.5mm OD) wheel bearings which allow us to make other improvements with our RACE wheel hubs.
The perfect compliment to our RACE Knuckles is our Chromoly (4130) RACE Wheel Hubs that have a larger diameter snout to run our HDE Oversized Wheel Bearings. The larger ID of the oversize bearings allows us to double the wall thickness of the snout making an incredibly robust solution that can withstand aggressive off-road use. Our race hubs come with an axle nut cap which eliminates the need for a cotter pin. Caps are available in blue or black.
This kit includes everything you need, and is ready to be bolted to your UTV. We have confirmed fitment with OEM and Alsup trailing arms. If you are running aftermarket trailing arms please reach out to us first and we can work with you to confirm fitment.

Note: Due to the larger spherical bearings we use on the top and bottom of the knuckle you may need to trim your trailing arms to fit. If you have any questions or concerns about fitment please contact us before ordering.

We have a 30-day return policy on new and unopened items, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
